In response to COVID-19, HBAS staff and students have spent the spring and summer adapting to the virtual classroom setting. HBAS will also be starting the fall semester completely online. We are also prepared for a possible return to in-class or hybrid instruction, in the event that our district is cleared to do so.
With classes starting after Labor Day, HBAS is excited to welcome students back to school with in-person and online enrollment.
What happens during in-person enrollment?
To ensure the safety of students and staff our enrollment process will be conducted outdoors. All students and staff will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing. Students will be asked questions to ensure they are not feeling sick or are contagious.* Our enrollment process will include an academic assessment and school email setup using a computer. Hand sanitizer will be available, and all surfaces and devices will be sanitized before and after being used by students.
* Please do not come to our campuses if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have a new cough, headache, feeling weak, have a fever, having difficulty breathing.
