In this time where virtual is often the new norm, our Student Support Services team is still finding new ways to reach students. Are you looking for job opportunities or ways to manage your $$$ better? Our Job Developer and Counselor are excited to host their first “Virtual Employment and Support Day” on Friday 12/4/2020 from 10 AM - 11 AM.
Exclusively for current HBAS students, this online event features two of our community partners. Students will first meet a Cambrian Home Care Recruiter and learn how to be trained as a Caregiver to Seniors or those with Special Needs. Cambrian offers competitive pay $14 to $15 to start, plus benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off). The recruiter will speak on how to apply, training they offer, expectations, locations they serve, and more.
Our colleagues at Operation Hope will then give a presentation on Financial Literacy, and introduce their Credit and Money Management Program. We can all benefit from learning how to manage and stretch our $$$, and improve and build our credit.
