As we approach summer, it's a time of endings and beginnings. HBAS staff bids farewell to graduating students as they take the next step in their educational and career paths.
June 12th: Promotion Ceremony for English as a Second Language (ESL) Students

June 14th: Pinning Ceremony for Career Technical Education (CTE) Students
HBAS will host a pinning ceremony to mark the passage of our CTE students into the professional world. These students recently completed their studies, took their certification exams and are putting into practice everything they have learned from their certificate program into a career.
- When: Thursday, June 14th @ 1:00 pm
- Where: Gothard Campus, Room C116
June 14th: Graduation Ceremony for Diploma and GED Students
HBAS will also host a graduation ceremony for students who have earned a High School Diploma or a High School Equivalency Certificate (GED). The honored guests this year will be Kathleen Iverson (District Board Member, Dr. Carolee Ogata (Deputy Superintendent, Human Resources) and Dr. J. Michael Durnil (President & CEO, Simon Youth Foundation).
- Where: Westminster Mall, Level 1 near Sears (west end)
- When: June 14th
- 3:45pm: Graduating students meet at the HBAS Mall Learning Center
- 5:00pm: Ceremony begins. All guest seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
