Family and friends joined HBAS staff to cheer on students taking a momentous step on their career path.
Principal Steve Curiel saluted CTE students for completing "a rigorous training program." He gave extra kudos to "students who became nationally certified in their field," and some who were already offered jobs.
Most of these students are entering the medical field as medical assistants, pharmacy technicians or medical billers and coders. Principal Curiel recognized the responsibility that comes with these careers: "Whether it be with our health, our finances, or our medications, you have proven you’ve got what it takes to take care of us."
We are proud of the dedication our students have shown in their pursuit of a new career path. As they embark on the next adventure, they will carry confidence in themselves, along with the skills and resources gained from their teachers and Job Developer Arlene Flores. Congratulations, CTE graduates!
